With immediate loading we place the implants and fit a fixed temporary bridge straight away: you go home the same day with new teeth that are stable and natural.
For a complete arch we use the All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols: four or six implants, positioned where the bone is strongest, support the whole row. Fewer implants, often without grafts.

Fixed teeth and implants: the most common questions
Can I really have fixed teeth in a day in Olbia?
In many cases yes, thanks to immediate loading: we place the implants and fit a fixed temporary bridge straight away, so you go home the same day with teeth. Feasibility depends on the quality and quantity of bone, which we assess with a 3D CT scan at your very first visit. If your circumstances don't allow it, we suggest the safest path for your case.
What exactly is a dental implant?
It is a small titanium screw, a biocompatible material, that is placed in the bone and works like an artificial root. Your new fixed teeth are anchored to this base, without having to touch or file down the healthy teeth nearby.
What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
They are two protocols for restoring a whole arch of fixed teeth on just four or six implants, positioned strategically even where bone is limited. All-on-6 adds two implants to distribute the load better in situations that call for it. In both cases the aim is to avoid grafts and to have fixed teeth straight away.
I don't have enough bone: can I still have implants?
Often yes. With bone regeneration and techniques such as sinus lift we recreate the base needed to support the implant, making possible even cases that are turned away elsewhere. The 3D study tells us precisely what is feasible.
Does placing an implant hurt?
The surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you feel no pain during the procedure. In the following days there may be a little swelling or discomfort, manageable with the prescribed medication. For those who are particularly anxious we offer conscious sedation.
The final prosthesis: composite or zirconia?
It depends on the case and on your priorities. Composite is a reliable and affordable solution; zirconia offers greater resistance to wear and looks very close to natural teeth. We discuss it together once your temporary smile has been fine-tuned, so you choose with all the information.
How long do dental implants last?
A well-cared-for implant can last many years. Much depends on daily hygiene and regular check-ups: like natural teeth, it needs looking after over time. That is why our pathway includes a programme of check-ups and maintenance.
